Payment & Invoicing Authorization Notice

Please read before making payment on any invoice issued by #1 Auction Buyer LLC.

1. Who Is Billing You

All invoices you receive for items won through our auction platform are issued by #1 Auction Buyer LLC. #1 Auction Buyer LLC operates as the authorized billing, collection, and transaction-management agent for the independent selling companies ("Consignors") who list bank-repossessed and asset-recovery inventory — including vehicles, boats, RVs, and equipment — on our platform.

Because our platform aggregates listings from multiple Consignor companies across different states, #1 Auction Buyer LLC centralizes invoicing so that every buyer has one consistent, predictable billing process regardless of which company originally owns the item.

2. Why the Payment Account May Show a Different Company Name

In some cases, the bank account or payment details listed on your invoice will show a company name that is different from #1 Auction Buyer LLC. This is expected and normal, and does not mean your invoice is incorrect or fraudulent.

This happens because the underlying asset (the vehicle, boat, RV, or equipment) legally belongs to the Consignor company that listed it — not to #1 Auction Buyer LLC. In these cases, payment is directed to the account designated by that Consignor, or to a designated processing account authorized under our agreement with them, while #1 Auction Buyer LLC remains the company that manages your invoice, your order, and your transaction from start to finish.

You will never be asked to pay two different companies for the same item. The invoice you receive from #1 Auction Buyer LLC will always clearly state the correct payee name and account details for that specific transaction.

3. Our Responsibility to You

Regardless of which Consignor company originally owns the item, #1 Auction Buyer LLC is the company you are transacting with, and we take full responsibility for your purchase, including:

  • Listing accuracy — we review and verify the condition, description, and photos of every item before it is published.
  • Transaction oversight — we manage the entire process from bidding to payment to delivery coordination.
  • Buyer protection — if an item is materially different from its listing, or if something goes wrong with your order, #1 Auction Buyer LLC will resolve the issue directly with you, including compensation or a refund where warranted.
  • Single point of contact — you deal with us, not with the individual Consignor company, for any questions, disputes, or after-sale support.

In short: #1 Auction Buyer LLC stands behind every transaction on this platform, even when the payment account belongs to a different, authorized company.

4. Protecting Yourself — Verify Before You Pay

Always verify payment details before sending funds.

  • Only pay the account name and details shown on your official invoice from #1 Auction Buyer LLC.
  • #1 Auction Buyer LLC will never change bank/payment details by email alone without a follow-up phone or written confirmation you can verify.
  • If you receive a payment request that looks unusual, or if bank details change after your invoice was first issued, contact us directly before sending any funds.
  • We are not responsible for payments sent to accounts not listed on your official invoice.

5. Questions?

If anything on your invoice is unclear, or you want to confirm payment details before wiring funds, contact #1 Auction Buyer LLC directly using the contact information provided on your invoice or order confirmation. We're happy to verify everything with you before you pay.
