2008 Newmar Kountry Star 3916 Motorcoach
Mileage: 29,780 Miles
VIN: 4VZBN1D938C065412
Title Clear: Michigan
In 2008, Newmar advertised its Kountry Star motorcoach as having “Luxury, style, effortless beauty, top-notch RV living.” They backed up that claim with an extensive list of standard amenities and a host of options, all built on a Cummins diesel-powered Spartan Mountain Master “pusher” chassis designed for “excellent driving performance.”
This 2008 Newmar Kountry Star 3916 was fitted with every available option. The odometer shows a mere 29,780 miles, a “thorough service” of the chassis at 27,000 miles “to ensure optimal performance and reliability.” The tires were replaced very recently, in July of 2025 and the big Cummins 8.9-liter turbodiesel engine hails from the pre-DEF era for even easier maintenance. Equipment on the 3916 layout includes four slider for added space and comfortable living, full awnings for shade and protection from the elements, three TVs, a satellite receiver, a freezer in the basement, pass-through storage and an Onan 8-KW generator with 308 hours of use on it. There’s even an outdoor entertainment center for hosting get togethers.
The coach has always been stored indoors when not in use, “No pets, no kids, and no smokers—and the leather still smells like new inside.”
POWERTRAIN
The Kountry Star is powered by a 400-horsepower, pre-DEF, Cummins 8.9-liter ISL turbodiesel OHV inline-six workhorse that reportedly “starts up like a champ.” There is “not a single leak in sight,” adding that the engine oil was changed along with all filters during the 27,000-mile chassis service, including oil and fuel filter changes on the generator. The Cummins engine is mated to an Allison six-speed automatic transmission that “effortlessly glides through the gears.”
EXTERIOR
The Cranberry and Silver multicolor, full body paintwork remains in “like-new” condition, with no blemishes. All the sliders and awnings are described as being in “remarkable” condition, “effortlessly gliding open and closed.” Additionally, there are no scratches or cracks in the exterior glass, while all the seals are said to be in great shape. All the exterior lights are functional.
INTERIOR
The cabin and living space of this Kountry Star are reportedly in “excellent” condition, who uses the word “pristine” to describe the condition of the leather upholstery, carpet and other trim, which “show no signs of wear.” He adds that the Amish cabinetry is “like new.” The air conditioning system is said to work “flawlessly,” along with the stereo systems—there are two—and other features, including heated leather Flexsteel captain’s chairs up front. There are no reported issues with the gauges or other controls on the instrument panel. “It all works perfectly,”. This motorhome’s roster of equipment is extensive, with highlights including side-view cameras, a washer and dryer, four-door refrigerator with freezer (lp or electric), a pull-out freezer in the basement, leather recliner, a queen-sized bed, central vacuum system, and much more.
Additional features include an automatic footrest for the front passenger’s seat and a sofa that transforms into a queen-sized bed with an air mattress. The dining table even has a leaf and two extra, matching chairs, with seating for four adults.
CHASSIS
The Kountry Star features a Mountain Master chassis from Spartan, a renowned maker of “pusher” chassis for high-end RVs. The coach’s chassis, suspension, and braking systems as remaining in “excellent condition,” with no known issues or needs. “It drives perfectly,” the suspension was serviced at 27,000 miles and the brakes, shocks, and steering systems are “like new.” The tires are new, Bridgestone 18-ply tires that were installed in July 2025. Their DOT date codes are visible in the photos. The vehicle’s battery system is in good condition.

Short notes from customers who completed purchases through our auction process.
I had questions before bidding and got clear answers. After I won, the invoice and delivery updates were easy to follow.
The photos and description were accurate. Delivery took a few days, but the communication was steady the whole time.
What I bid is what I paid. The paperwork was handled properly and I liked that everything was explained before payment.
The team stayed in touch after the auction ended and helped me understand the wire, title, and delivery steps.
I wanted to make sure everything was legitimate before sending payment. They walked me through the documents, payment instructions, and delivery schedule without rushing me.
The vehicle arrived as shown in the listing, and the inspection period gave me extra peace of mind.
Bought a boat listed with a small scuff on the trailer fender and that is exactly what showed up — nothing else. Only reason this is four stars and not five is delivery: quoted one week, ended up closer to two. They called with updates the whole time though, and the boat arrived in the exact condition shown in photos.
First time bidding on a repo vehicle online and I was nervous about it. The inspection report was detailed enough that I knew exactly what I was getting, and support answered every question I had before I placed a bid.
Picked up a Ford through auction and it drove home clean. Listing already mentioned a small scuff on the rear bumper, and that is exactly what I found — nothing extra, nothing hidden. That scuff is the only reason I am not at five stars; sent extra photos before I paid when I asked, no pressure to decide quickly.
Truck runs exactly like the inspection said it would, no issues since I brought it home. Knocking off one star only because shipping updates were spotty for a few days in the middle — had to call twice to get a straight answer on where the truck was. Once it arrived, everything matched the listing.
Won an auction on a backhoe earlier this year. Clear answers at every step, no pressure to bid higher than I wanted. They stayed reachable after the sale closed too, not just before.
Bought a boat for weekend trips and was nervous about buying something I could not check out in person first. Support worked around my schedule to answer questions, and the boat that showed up matched the listing and photos completely. Delivery was on time, no excuses needed.
The boat itself is exactly what was pictured and ran fine the first time out. Had a paperwork question after delivery that took a couple days to resolve, which is the only thing keeping this at four stars instead of five — everyone I spoke with stayed courteous about it.
Bought sight-unseen and was worried. The 5-day window after delivery let me get a mechanic to look it over before I had to fully commit. Everything checked out — exactly as described.
First time buying an RV through an online auction and had a lot of beginner questions about how bidding works. Support stayed patient and walked me through the no-reserve format clearly. Only reason for four stars instead of five is the payment window felt tight once I won — would have liked a day or two more.
What stood out buying this RV was that they did not just sell the positives. Asked about known wear points on the roof seal and got a direct answer plus extra documentation before I bid. That is what got me comfortable committing to it.
First large online purchase and I had a lot of concerns going in. Shipping delayed once, but nothing was hidden from me at any point. Stay patient and communicate, and it works.
The RV was real, the process was clear, and support acted like people, not a script. That is the easiest way I can sum up buying through them.
